Course Description

Upon successful completion the participant will recognize; Fall hazards, Apply the right control, Understand how to work at heights safely and in compliance with Ontario regulatory requirement, and Know their rights and responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

As of April 1, 2015 there is a new training requirement for any worker working at heights or who use any of the following methods of fall protection:

  • Travel restraint systems
  • Fall restricting systems
  • Safety nets
  • Work belts or safety belts

This program is recognized by the Ministry of Labour.
